Mutual Respect: The Hidden Relationship Key

Mutual Respect: The Hidden Relationship Key

When asking established couples what makes for a strong relationship, approximately 75% of them pointed to respect as a foundation component.

Far too often people believe flashy things keep their relationship on track. A general lack of respect leads to several serious problems.

Couples must understand the allure of other relational elements, the reasons respect proves so important and the support provided to areas for both people when respect exists.

Do Not Get Distracted

Lesser items with more sizzle than substance serve to pull couples off track. Distractions undermine far more of the relationship than the surface may indicate.

Physicality: An important component, especially early in the relationship, consumes more time and energy. Chasing raw attraction without supporting other areas may establish unhealthy responses giving couples little to share outside their personal drives.

Sweet Expressions: Empty compliments without ties back to items of substance fails to allow room for growth. While it might be nice to hear how warm someone feels by being around you, these platitudes, even truthful ones, will crumble under real conversations.

Being Right: In course of deeper discussions, a need to be right no matter the costs creates an adversarial relationship. It is not unusual for couples to challenge one another. Displaying a perceived intellectual superiority cultivates a distance where desire withers and dies.

The temptation is looking at these and other distractions as occurring mostly during the early stages of relationships. Personal interests, lack of communication and general disrespect never limits itself to new relationships. Couples must be on guard for things seeking to tear at their relationship.

Importance of Respect

The heart of respect beats in time with value the other person. When a person respects their partner, they want to understand where they are coming from, prevent themselves from only lashing out or belittling the other person and acting with an eye toward what type of response their voice and actions may cause.

Far too often, the presence of of respect rarely gets noticed. It is more a matter of the absence of respect which rises to the surface because of the pain caused. Causing the pain should spur a decision to return to a foundation of respect.

Hidden Benefits of Respect

The qualities of respect by itself are often enough to encourage people to pursue it for its own end. However, respect supercharges or drains other parts of the relationship. Seeing the interplay between respect and these other areas increases a focus on respect.

* Gentleness: In light of mutual respect, people treat each other with greater tenderness on several areas.

* Openness: Couples allow for wider range of experiences by knowing they have and respecting their partner.

* Support: Both partners with mutual respect grow more supportive including situations where the threats come from outside the relationship.

* Communication: Not being afraid to say things incorrectly, broach uncomfortable topics or share deeper feelings stems from being in a respectful relationship.

Mutual respect always proves a critical element because it, like breathing, must be an underlying component for everything else. Challenges will arise and couples must trust the one they love believes and respects them.

Love never flourishes in a place where someone is devalued.

Speaking to a Partner's Love Language

Speaking to a Partner's Love Language

Gary Chapman, in his best selling book, outlined the concept of love languages. He broke them down in general categories and posited everyone has a particular language to which they respond. Most people give in a language they desire. Unfortunately, being paired with someone possessing an identical love language is quite rare. More often than not, a partner needs something requiring sacrifice and practice to speak to them in a ways they truly value. This makes understanding all the love languages critical for open communication and deepen intimacy.

Gifts

In some ways, this seems like the simplest love language because one buys something for their partner and it is done. Those who respond to this language do not point to the gift itself. The gift represents everything else involved. Things like time, attention and effort all meld to elevate the item from a "gift" to a representation of the the other's heart. In a gift card obsessed culture where no one wants to get the "wrong" thing, a thoughtful, specific item speaking directly to a partner's interests goes a long way to bring two people closer together.

Time

For this group, the presence of the one they care about can be enough. Think of a cold day when the wind blows and sleet hits the windows. Sitting next to a fire and having one's partner there warms more than the body. It warms the heart. Too often, a person can get too focused on doing things or providing an experience. Those with the love language of time only want to know they matter enough to be with.

Words

Words trip people up as society moves ever farther from a place where words hold sway. Take all sorts of social media with their emojis or pictures substituted for a well timed word. People who need words do not seek eloquence. They only want to hear the truth about themselves from their partner's heart. It can take the form of a poem, a song or a simple whispered "I love you" followed by a pet name. Because of this, they feel seen and heard by the one they love.

Service
This sounds really big as a love language complete with grand gestures or arduous tasks. The simplest way to understand this is think of the worst household chore. It varies, but everyone has one. Now, imagine arriving home with the task completed unexpectedly. Service is doing things for the partner they may always have to do or put off doing. This lightens their burden. But deeper than merely doing a chore for them, the partner sees how the rest of their work is acknowledged and seen.

Touch

Before this turns to more adult topics, because almost no one can resist those touches, this love language centers on more G and PG touching. Holding hands, snuggling on the couch and a good old fashioned hug passes affection to those with this love language. One of the biggest challenges for people with this love language occurs when the relationship has been well established and most of the early playfulness and touching vanishes. They need skin to skin contact to know their partner is close and cares.

Almost everyone has a dominant and secondary love language where they receive the majority of the reinforcement of connection. However, everyone should receive a variety of love from all these categories because it touches them in a variety of ways at different times. Words of love can impact those longing for touch as much as a tight hug. The important thing is to take the time, get to know what a partner needs and then strive to fill them with as much love as possible.

Secret Relationships Can They Work

Secret Relationships Can They Work

Secret relationships sound exciting and adventurous, don't they? Just having a secret is provocative, but when there's romance and sex involved that makes the secret even juicier. Do you like to know why secret relationships have such a big appeal, and that people wonder why you're smiling all the time?
Secret relationships aren't uncommon. But you should also realize that they don't always work. In fact, having a relationship that's a secret can put a huge strain on you as a couple. The odds of this type of relationship only lasting a short time are pretty high.

It can be more difficult than you think to go very long without talking about the relationship. If it weren't secret, you would probably mention your partner throughout the day in casual conversation. Even just mentioning something you saw together or talked about would be a natural thing to do.

But in secret relationships, you have to keep yourself from doing that. You might find it on the tip of your tongue to talk about your partner and have to catch yourself all the time. Having to censor yourself several times a day can be quite a source of stress.

Add to that your partner's feelings about having to do the same thing. Between the two of you, that can add up to a lot of tension.

There's also the worry about being seen together. People in hush-hush relationships don't have the luxury of going out go a great restaurant for dinner. They can't go see the latest movie together, or walk down the road holding hands.

There are exceptions to this. If you're keeping the relationship secret because you're good friends and you don't want people to know it's become more, you can still be seen together. But you'll have to give only appearance of friendship around others.

Some relationships are kept secret for that very reason. Friends have become more than that but don't want to jinx the relationship. Or they decide that their group of friends might not understand. And they think maybe keeping it a secret is a good idea in case things don't work out. Then the friends would never have to know.

Many coworkers who start dating keep the secret for the same reason. Things would just be easier at work if other people didn't know, both while it's happening and in case it ends. And with work situations, such dating might be discouraged making the secret necessary.

But by keeping it a secret for those reasons, it's as if you're saying that it's probably not going to work out. At least, you're showing that you have serious doubts about it. How healthy does it seem to be in a relationship that you must believe won't last, so much so that you're keeping it a secret?

While the relationship might be thrilling at first and seem like an adventure, the best way to have secret relationships is with the understanding that they'll only be secret for a short time.

Defining men’s relationship angle

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Defining men’s relationship angle

Information that would help women perceive men’s reactions in a better fashion
March 22, 2013-  Understanding the opposite sex has always been a topic for extensive debate.  While each one has a different perspective about various aspects in life, it is obvious that there needs to be a bridge of consensus in order to maintain a peaceful life.

Dr. Paul Pharms, PhD, a renowned relationship consultant and a specialist in enabling people through self-empowerment has created two very helpful videos that would provide all the answers to the most pertinent questions a woman would have about men in general.  Often women find it challenging to comprehend men’s actions when it comes to maintaining a relationship.  The numerous books and educational material on men’s behavior doesn’t provide answers to these questions either.  This would lead to a belief which would be hard to alter and in turn would hamper the relation to a great extent.

The videos that are created by Dr. Pharms are focused on providing an insight into men’s thought process when it comes to handling a relationship.  Certainly there are differences however with love and understanding people would become more accepting of the differences.  Only when the actual thought process is understood one would be able to react in the desired manner.  This is the sole aim of the videos and the end result would be bridge some of the gaps that occur through the changes in reaction and work it out for bettering the relationship.

Having worked as a relationship consultant Dr. Pharms brings forward the common scenarios with solutions that would help every man and woman respond well to their partners.  The gender differences are bound to hinder the thinking and when it comes to two different mindsets living together a lot of disagreements do happen.  The true meaning of relationship is to bring the differences to a platform where they can be worked out collectively for a positive outcome.

These videos are a perfect guide for those who wish to embark on a new relationship or work on a broken relationship.  It also provides a few insights that can help those in a relationship and often have questions about the differences that arise.  For viewing the videos visit http://resilientinvestor.blogspot.in/ .  Dr. Pharms has listed many articles in his blog that have helped many couples come together and stay united for long.  Visit the site mentioned above to contact Dr. Pharms for any other additional relationship advice.

Serious Questions to Ask Your Partner

Serious Questions to Ask Your Partner

When you first get into a relationship, you are simply excited about your new love. You will often avoid many important relationship topics and conversations when you first fall in love with someone. With that being said, there are multiple questions and topics that should be covered by these who are in a more relationship. These are some of the serious questions to ask your partner as your relationship continues to get more serious.

What Do You Think about  Children?

If you find that your relationship is getting more and more serious, you need to start thinking about your future goals. If you are dead-set on having a child, and your partner is dead-set on not having children, you may have an issue. While it may not be grounds to break up right away, it is something to keep in the back of your mind as you find your relationship to be more serious.

Is This Long Term?

You need to be upfront with your partner about your wants and needs. IF you are looking for a long-term relationship, you need to tell them this. They will then be able to tell you whether or not they are on the same page.

What Are Your Thoughts on Monogamy?

It is important to be on the same page as far as monogamy is concerned. You need to ask this relatively soon. Be clear and firm about your stance on the issue, and make sure that you clearly understand their thoughts on monogamy as well.

Am I a Priority?

Talk to your partner about their priority list. While you should not expect to be first on the list of priorities, you should not be last. Find out where you rank in their life to fully understand how committed they are to you and your relationship.

Do You Love Me?

This simple question may seem pointless, and may not seem serious. This question can actually have a strong purpose. When you ask your partner if they love you, you are reaffirming their feelings. Sometimes, it is simply good to be verbally reassured that they love you and care about you.

Are You Willing to Work for Our Relationship?

Relationships are not easy to maintain. They require work and patience to be successful. You need to talk to your partner about your relationship to understand if they are willing to do the work necessary to maintain a good and healthy relationship.

It is important to space these questions out; do not ask them all at once. While you want to have serious talks, you do not want to bombard your partner with serious questions. IT is also important to keep an understanding tone while talking about these questions. An accusatory tone can ruin your relationship.

You should be asking these questions to understand your partner. You need to think about serious questions to ask your partner to ensure that you are not surprised by something later on in your relationship. Remember, the way you start is the way that you will continue in your relationship; until new positive change comes about.

I’m So Happy I Could Cry I Got My Boyfriend Back

I’m So Happy I Could Cry I Got My Boyfriend Back.

I have been sitting here at the kitchen table with my best girlfriend, Lisa, crying and laughing at the same time. Actually both of us are so darn giddy, it's hilarious. And when we start laughing really, really hard, I almost pee on myself. Oh Gawd! I've started giggling again. Hold on a second, I have to stop laughing and then I'll tell you all about it.

Now let me tell you why we are so giddy. About six months ago my boyfriend dumped me. As you can imagine, I was completely devastated.I thought I was having a heart attack; it hurt so bad. I was so messed up. All I did was cry hour after hour. I couldn’t think, much less try to go to work. You know what I’m saying right?

About 3 days into the worst event of my life, a thought hit me. It was almost like a white hot electrical shock from a huge lightning bolt coming out of the sky and hitting me. I really, really love this guy and I want to spend the rest of my life with him. And the first question that popped into my mind was, "How do I get him back?"

I had already tried to text and call him, but he just plain ignored me. Then I went over to his house and almost got on my knees begging him to take me back. Mike was very gentle, as he explained what was going on with him and then he asked me to leave. And that’s when I blew my top. I just plain lost it. But I did leave.

After getting home I called Lisa, bawling my eyes out again and she rushed over; to comfort me and give some much needed advice.

Lisa had gone through the same thing with her boyfriend within the last year, so she knew what she was talking about. As we talked she told me how she had done the same things I had and they didn’t work for her either. “O.K.! Then how did you get Greg back?” I asked.

“Listen,” she said. “Donna, the first thing you have to do is stop acting like a fool. You’re going to have to take your time and figure out what caused Mike to breakup with you. Once we have that figured out we can layout a battle plan to get him back.” And trust me that‘s precisely what we did.

Lisa went online to your blog and began to list the things she had used and I was going to have to do to win my ex back:

* Start looking my best, all the time not just part of the time
* Determine why Mike and I had fallen in love the first time
* Start doing the things that had attracted Mike to me originally
* Stop texting, stop calling, stop going to his house

To make a long story short I followed Your wise advice and last night Mike asked me to marry him. Oh Gawd! The ring is beautiful. Now you know why I’m so giddy I could cry.

But I have to tell you without Lisa and your advice I would have lost Mike forever. P.S. Thank you so much Dr. Pharms,PhD.

Love Relationship Advice

 Love Relationship Advice

For most people, it's pretty easy to find love.  The challenge often seems to be to be able to make it last.  Keeping your love for each other strong is not impossible.  You just have to understand why it falls apart and make sure you, and your partner, avoid those traps.  That's where love relationship advice comes in handy.

For most couples the first few months is pretty easy.  You are falling in love and you think the other person is perfect.  You can see no wrong in them or what they do.  And maybe there isn't anything wrong with the way they, or you, act in the early stages of a relationship.

They say that familiarity breeds contempt and if that's true it would go a long way to explaining why the longer a relationship goes on the more it tends to break down.

Here is a list of some of the things you, and your partner, need to be on the lookout for in your relationship.  These are common traps that many couples fall into without realizing it.  If you know what to watch out for and can avoid these mistakes you will have a much better chance of keeping your relationship strong and healthy for a long time:

1. Unrealistic expectations.  As I said above we think our new love can do no wrong.  As our relationship slowly changes from falling in love to being in love and all the day to day stresses and mundane tasks we must face, it's easy to lose some of that early 'glow'.  This can be a pivotal time in many relationships, sometimes the couple will think that they just don't love each other anymore and break up.

In reality, in any long term relationship, you will spend a much longer time in this 'normal' mode than you will in the early 'glow' mode.  It's important to recognize that this is all a normal progression in an adult relationship.

2. Inability to effectively communicate.  Men and women express themselves differently...that's just the way it is.  The good news is that you can learn to communicate with your partner effectively, if you're willing to take some time to learn how. The whole 'it's a guy thing' or 'it's a girl thing' is only true to a point, and is largely just a cop out.

In reality any mature, intelligent adult should be able to learn how to talk to their partner, and even more importantly, listen to their partner.  The real question is do you care enough about your partner and the relationship to take the time?

3.  Don't confuse sex with love.  This may sound obvious but men and women tend to look at sex in different ways.  Women, for example, tend to look at sex as a way to connect with someone they love on a deeper physical level.  Yes, it's pleasurable, but the pleasure isn't just physical it's emotional as well.

Men tend to look at sex as definition of who they are as a man.  For them too, it's pleasurable but it's also a way to prove their desirability and masculinity.  Sometimes when a relationship gets to the 'comfortable' stage this difference in views about sex can create problems.  If one partner doesn't seem sexually interested in the other partner it can create severe stress on the relationship.

If your relationship gets to this point, it might help if you and your partner can remember that sex is only one small component of every thing your relationship is made up of.  While for many couples, having an active sex life is an important part of the relationship, it's important to understand that as you age and your relationship grows, it probably won't be  quite as important as it once was. That doesn't mean your partner doesn't love you or find you attractive, it's just a fairly common way for long term relationships to go.

I hope this love relationship advice will help you hold on to the love you've found.  Being able to make a deep, long lasting, connection with another person really is one of life's blessings.  Make your connection last by learning how to avoid the pitfalls of some relationships :)

Why Men Leave Relationships

 Why Men Leave Relationships

If you are a woman who is struggling to keep your relationship intact and you want to know why men leave relationships, this is the article for you.  As humans, we have the tendency to make things more complicated than they have to be.  This is compounded by some misconceptions that are strongly rooted in our society.

Many people have heard the saying: "Men use love to get sex and women use sex to get love".  The problem is that doesn't have to be the way it is.  While there might be some truth to that it just perpetuates a common flaw in our way of thinking: that men want and need sex more than women and that sex is all men need to be happy.

That's simply not true.  For the most part men and women have similar sex drives but our society, and really throughout history, men have been encouraged to 'sow their wild oats' and women have been told they have to be 'good girls'.  So men are used to giving in to their desires and women are used to putting their desires on hold.

No wonder relationships seem like such a challenge! Half the population doesn't feel like they have any control over their urges and the other half feels like their urges are wrong!

For anyone who wants a stable loving relationship you will need to re-think many of the concepts you were brought up to believe.  The truth is that anyone, men or women, will leave unfulfilled relationships and all but the most shallow people want to be fulfilled in many ways not just sexually.

In order to really have a loving long term relationship you need to have connections: physical, spiritual, and emotional.  These are necessary for the success of any long term relationship.  All people want to feel like they are accepted, understood, desired, and loved by their partners.

When one or more of these needs aren't met the relationship will start to fall apart.  For any woman who wants to know why men leave relationships so they can prevent it from happening to them, just remember to connect with your man on all of these levels, and both of you will be happy, fulfilled, and committed to the relationship forever.

What Type of Woman Do Men Consider Marriage Worthy?

What Type of Woman Do Men Consider Marriage Worthy?

Whether they openly admit it or not, most men want to marry a woman that is both sexy and smart. In other words, they want the ‘whole package’. And the great thing about intelligence is that you don’t have to be supermodel material to pull off sexy with your intellect.

Brains, confidence, and a having a point of view are just hot no matter how you package it. And the right man will see that immediately and, most likely, he will classify you as marriage material because of it.

Having a strong belief in yourself is another quality men find sexy in a woman; it’s a quality that differentiates you from the other women he might only classify as fling material. If you have a strong sense of self and know exactly who you are, men find that extremely attractive.

More importantly, by showing a man that you are strong and confident, he will also see you as a woman worthy of marriage. They figure if you can hold such a powerful belief in yourself, that then you could hold that kind of belief in him as well.

And deep down inside, men want you to believe in them. They want you to believe they can be the strong man you desire and need them to be.

Attract a man by approaching him from a place of strength and brains, rather than overt sex appeal, if you want him to see you as marriage material. And remember that, although first impressions do count, as a woman you hold  power and that power is you femininity. And it WORKS over men more than you realize!

Especially when getting a guy to choose you as his future wife. Use that power wisely and you just might be pleasantly surprised!

How To Keep The Love Alive In Your Relationship

How To Keep The Love Alive In Your Relationship

Some believe that romance should just come naturally, and if it doesn’t, or if the original closeness that existed in a relationship starts to subside, it means that something is wrong. Nothing is further from the truth. Keeping love alive requires time, attention and the willingness to keep things fresh and learn how to constantly reconnect. Here are some steps that will help you reconnect with your partner, and keep the love alive.

Step 1: Give up dead routines

After the initial excitement of being together is over, many fall into a routine and begin taking one another for granted. They assume they know what their partner is feeling, that it doesn’t matter if they come late for a date, don’t look as good as they used to, or decide to spend more and more time out with friends. However, it is crucial to realize that there are many small ways in which we sabotage relationships. Unless two people feel cared for and valued by one another, it is easy for the feelings of love to fade away.

Break into routines. Snap out of ruts. Take time to plan exciting, romantic, delicious times to spend together. Even if it’s just for a little while. Dedicate time to the relationship that nothing can interrupt. This is a sacred time for the two of you, and during it do what makes both of you feel most fulfilled.

Step 2:  Take Charge of How You Perceive Your Partner Each Day

The good feelings between partners are often heightened by the way in which they view one another. Do you view him as a hero? Someone you can look up to and respect? Or are you mostly dwelling upon his/her faults? After a relationship has gone on for a while it is easy to begin to view one another as ordinary.  This is a sure-fire technique for putting out any fire that might exist.  Remember, when you first fell in love, you only saw the best about that person and focused on how wonderful they were. If you want to keep the love alive, keep that going consciously.

Here are two exercises to do to help. Get a personal notebook to record your experiences and feelings in. Read it from time to time. Dedicated a certain time each day to the relationship and what is possible between the two of you.

Exercise A – How You See Your Partner

Take some time and write down a description of how you see your partner. Who is he/she to you now? How do you feel about him? Write this down without censoring your thoughts and feelings.

Then, write down how you saw him when you first met, and how you felt about him then. See how your feelings of closeness are affected by the way you are perceiving the person today. Realize that how you perceive a person is totally within your control. You can have the most beautiful person in front of you, but if you do not see it, it is of no avail.

Consciously view your partner in a way that is similar to the way you did in the beginning. They will feel the effects of this, and begin responding in kind.

Exercise B – Stop Pushing Him/Her Away

There are many, little things we do (consciously and unconsciously) that push our partners away. Many are afraid of intimacy and do a great deal to short circuit it. Take a little while to write down ways in which you push him/her away. This is not to blame yourself, but to become aware of the times when you are not actually inviting closeness, but putting on the brakes.

Now, decide to change the way you behave. Each day take one item on your list (the way you’ve pushed him away) and do the opposite. For example, rather than criticizing him in public, say nice things about him with friends. A few small actions can have huge effects. .

Step 2:  Understanding Hidden Expectations

There is nothing that can cause us to disconnect from each other as much as expectations that have been unfulfilled. We all enter relationships with many kinds of expectations and dreams, some we are aware of, others not. There is nothing that causes more disappointment than our expectations which are not being met.

Take a moment to become aware of what you are expecting of your partner. Is it possible for him to fulfill these expectations Does he want the same thing from the relationship?

More often than not, it is our unfulfilled expectations, not the other person, which make us upset. In order to feel close and satisfied in a relationship, a crucial step is making sure your expectations can be met.  See how your expectations align with the person you’re with. Also take time to see if anyone can fulfill them? Are these expectations realistic or simply childhood dreams you are still carrying with you?

Exercise C –- Letting Him Fulfill Your Dreams

Become aware off which expectations of yours your partner does meet.  Now see if you are willing to be satisfied with that. Can you find a way to feel grateful for what you are receiving? Sometimes just deciding that what your partner offers is good enough, can allow the love to re-ignite once again.
Then, let him know that he’s making you happy. Most people have a deep need to know and to hear that they are meaningful to you.

Step 6: Re-Choose Your Partner

When these steps are taken, you will not only be more connected, but you will be with your partner because there is no other place you want to be. The relationship will not be one of convenience, but one of choice. The actual act of re-choosing our partners, of knowing they are the one’s we want to be with, is the culmination of the reconnecting and romance we’ve found.

Sometimes it is very beautiful to make this process conscious. You can write down and express the ways in which you wish to recommit to your partner, you can write down and express the aspects of them that cause you to feel this way. By doing this on an on-going basis, we not only keep the love and relationship fresh, but we keep ourselves aware of why we are with the person, what our part is in the relationship, and the joy and romance that is possible for us to have forever.

Rushing into a Relationship

   Rushing into a Relationship

Are you attempting to hurry into forming a relationship? This happens with some of you when you realize that most of your friends have steady partners, or that it is time for you to get married, or when you feel lonely. You tend to rush into an affair. You are willing to commit to someone despite feeling that person might not be the right match for you. This beckons future complications. Why do people behave in this manner?

Is there a solution for this problem? Experiencing the desire to be in a relationship is only natural. It is a biological occurrence and there is nothing unhealthy or immoral about it. In fact, it is an indispensable part of development. The problem creeps in when you enter a relationship to gratify some other yearnings that have no part in the actual relationship. For example, if you are faced with problems at work, at home or with your health, you may believe that getting a companion would be a solution.

You may want to escape the miserable situation you are in at present with someone else’s help and seek a happy life . This may eventually mar your relationship because you are getting into it with a load of baggage yourself. You can avoid this in two ways— either solve your problems first or ensure that your partner supports you from the onset. You must be clear about everything to your future partner and ascertain their support.

Sometimes, failing to get into a relationship repeatedly can dent your self-confidence and make you feel inadequate or unimportant. You obviously want to feel good about yourself instead of being so miserable. This may make you dash into the relationship without really thinking too much. You need a partner to prove to yourself that you are capable of attaining one. Hence you may easily end up choosing the wrong person and subsequently hurt both yourself and the other.

Never go into a relationship based on such reasons. Before beginning a relationship, carefully examine your own self, your requirements, and find out what kind of qualities you seek in a partner. Only when you are sure of these aspects should you start looking for the right individual for yourself. This is the safest and surest way to attain bliss and happiness in love and in life.
